Glenair Date-Code Limits

For certain applications, customers may require components with a maximum date-code age.

Powell Electronics supplies genuine Glenair components through authorized channels with full lot traceability. Where required, we can support date-code limits for Glenair parts.

The majority of Glenair products are electromechanical components and do not have a defined shelf life when stored correctly.

If your order has a specific programme date-code requirement, please contact us after placing your order so we can confirm availability. If the available inventory does not meet your specified limit, we will contact you to confirm the available options, including fresh production on a short lead time where applicable.

In many cases we can supply:

Stock that meets your requested date-code limit, or
Fresh factory production from Glenair where necessary.

Typical Glenair factory lead time is approximately 4 weeks, depending on the part number.

How to request a date-code limit

If your order requires a specific date-code limit, please email:

Include:

  • Your order number
  • The part number
  • The maximum acceptable date-code (for example ≤36 months)

Our team will confirm availability or advise the best option.

If the available inventory does not meet your specified date-code requirement, we will contact you to confirm the available options, including fresh production where applicable.
